I decided to use a bobby pin versus a dotting tool because I only own one dotting tool. The dotting tool I have is for smaller dots or for drawing patterns. The bobby pin provided larger dots for this look.
I also want to mention that the photo below is of my left hand, which I had done the day before, while the hand in the video is of my right. I had to redo my right hand after seeing that the first round of filming didn't turn out and because the acrylic on my thumb nail broke off the following day of painting.
The pictures on the YouTube thumbnail are from both left and right hands from the first round of painting and were enhanced with Instagram.
