After growing out my nails after trimming them down to nothing for my Norfolk trip, I have been anticipating doing more nail posts. After I chipped the heck out of my 4th of July mani, I decided to go pink!
Ignore the mini football. It was the only object sitting near me that gave me a good picture angle. Also, ignore the graininess of the pic of the pink polish alone... it was taken in dim lighting on my cell phone. I had to adjust brightness via PicPlayPRO.
I love the pink polish, but I find it obnoxious at the same time. Some nails took 3 coats, and others took 4. A bit too sheer for my taste, but it is really pretty. Kind of wish I had left it alone without all of the glitter and quilting pattern.
For the base, I used Nicole by OPI in Kim-pletely in Love. For the glitters, they are the Hexagon glitters from BornPrettyStore. If you use FRMW10 at BPS, you can get 10% off your entire order. As for the quilted pattern, I used a tooth pick with Wet n Wild MegaLast in Through the Grapevine. You can also use dotting tools, like the ones I have, but I was lazy to get them out and used the box of toothpicks sitting next to me ;)
